Job Description

Burn 60 is looking for a great Front Desk Associate! This position is part-time (a few hours per week) and requires the candidate to be present on-site at the studio, as this is not a remote job. The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in shaping these experiences, providing a welcoming, helpful, and organized frontline for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk – greet clients by name upon entry in a warm and professional manner.
  • Assist clients with purchases, managing bookings, and answering queries using our studio software.
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby area are tidy and presentable at all times. 
  • Maintain the safety and security of client belongings throughout their visit.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any on-the-spot issues that arise.
  • Introduce new clients to coaches and studio amenities using our approved induction system.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our products and services, providing clients with accurate information.
  • Assist in setting up for classes, ensuring that all areas are organized and ready for clients.
  • Handle client feedback constructively and proactively contribute to improving our service delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of all studio promotions and pricing to ensure clients are informed about available packages and offers.
  • Schedule clients for classes using the studio's booking system and follow up on appointments.
  • Conduct regular checks of studio facilities, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, energetic and fun personality with a customer-centric focus.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot studio software.
  • Flexible availability to cover various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to undertake physical requirements of the job, including standing for extended periods and moving weights around during clean-up. 
  • First aid certification or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.
  • Work experience in a similar role is a plus. 
  • Passion for health and fitness is a plus.
