Cultivate Counseling and Consulting is excited to announce the expansion of our services and the opportunity to welcome a new Mental Health Therapist to our team. We are a clinician-owned private mental health practice located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This is a Full-Time position, not a remote job, requiring the candidate to provide services at our physical location.

We are searching for skilled candidates who hold a professional licensure as LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LISW in the state of Ohio. Our practice offers a range of therapeutic services, including both virtual and in-person sessions, with a strong focus on couples therapy and child/adolescent therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain an active and good-standing professional license to practice in Ohio.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic services including individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
• Engage with the local community to promote mental health awareness and build connections for the practice.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and adherence to all professional ethical standards.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions and sessions.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals or community resources when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure best practices in mental health counseling.
• Provide a positive and supportive environment for all clients, focusing on client-centered care.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the practice and its clients, including potential evening and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (LSW/LISW), Counseling (LPC/LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
• Current and valid state licensure as an LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LISW in Ohio
• Minimum of one year of documented experience in a mental health setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust with clients and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the ethical guidelines of the counseling profession
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective collaboration skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
