Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient evaluations and participate in the development of treatment plans.
- Assist in various venous and arterial procedures, including sclerotherapy, under the supervision of experienced vascular surgeons.
- Manage day-to-day operations within the clinic setting, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Participate in rounding at affiliated hospitals to monitor and support patient care and recovery.
- Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room as training progresses.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with health regulations and clinic standards.
- Engage in continuous education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest practices and technologies in vascular medicine.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Arizona.
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Background or experience in peripheral vascular surgery is highly desirable.
- Exceptional clinical skills with an ability to perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical terms and conditions to patients and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various medical staff members.
