Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial patient evaluations and participate in the development of treatment plans.
  • Assist in various venous and arterial procedures, including sclerotherapy, under the supervision of experienced vascular surgeons.
  • Manage day-to-day operations within the clinic setting, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
  • Participate in rounding at affiliated hospitals to monitor and support patient care and recovery.
  • Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room as training progresses.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with health regulations and clinic standards.
  • Engage in continuous education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest practices and technologies in vascular medicine.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Arizona.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Background or experience in peripheral vascular surgery is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional clinical skills with an ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical terms and conditions to patients and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various medical staff members.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and adhering to ethical medical practices and guidelines.
