Neighborhood Security Ambassador

Grayman Security Risk Management is hiring Neighborhood Security Ambassadors to provide a professional, visible safety presence throughout Philadelphia neighborhoods and commercial corridors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walking patrols and business/community check-ins
• Deter and report suspicious, criminal, or disruptive activity
• Assist businesses with safety, theft prevention, and quality-of-life concerns
• Use communication and de-escalation to address situations
• Contact police, EMS, or fire when necessary
• Assist with community outreach and homeless services
• Carry and administer NARCAN when necessary
• Complete incident reports

Schedule & Pay

$18–$22/hour | 1099 Independent Contractor6-hour shifts | 1:00 PM–6:00 PM4–6 days per week

Must be comfortable with extensive walking and outdoor foot patrols during the entire shift.

Security or public safety experience is a plus, but not required. Applicants must be professional, dependable, observant, and comfortable working with the public.

Ambassadors are not police officers and do not carry weapons.
