This full-time position is based in our main office and involves frequent field visits; thus, it is not suitable for remote work. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of our business operations, driving sales processes, and contributing directly to our growth and success in the competitive market.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads provided by the company.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the roofing and construction industry.
- Continuously improve through feedback and perform roofing inspections to generate sales.
- Drive to appointments and manage your client pipeline effectively.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the construction or roofing industry.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive to appointments.
- Ability to climb on roofs for assessments and inspections. Drone inspections accepted
- Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from high-end residential to commercial facilities.
- Commission-based remuneration; aiming to meet and surpass financial and sales targets.
- Good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
