Located in our well-facilitated clinic, this role is not eligible for remote work, ensuring that all interactions and procedures maintain the highest standard of quality and personal touch.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct initial dental assessments and prepare patient for dental examinations.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and other non-surgical periodontal treatments using both traditional and advanced techniques such as the EMS airflow system.
• Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral pictures to assist in the comprehensive evaluation of patients’ oral health.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop suitable treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene practices to enhance and sustain oral health.
• Discuss treatment needs when periodontal disease is determined and perform appropriate periodontal treatment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records compliant with privacy regulations and clinic policies.
• Manage infection control protocols and ensure a sterile and neat workspace.
• Show kindness, empathy, and respect to patients, creating a comfortable and trust-worthy environment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in dental hygiene and patient management techniques.

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygiene License in the practicing state.
• Laser certification or willingness to obtain certification soon after hire.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
• Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
• Ability to educate patients on gum health and oral hygiene best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered service.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of professional integrity.
• Comfortable using dental technology and computer-based charting systems.
