Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues
- Install various water and sewage lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters
- Carry out inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Prepare work cost estimates for clients
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls
- Adhere to all safety policies and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and detailed explanations of technical issues
- Keep a record of assignments and services rendered
- Maintain a clean work environment after finishing tasks
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications to stay updated on industry standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in residential and commercial plumbing repair
- Must possess a valid plumbing license
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational school training preferred
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment used in plumbing
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Maintain a drug-free status
- Clean, valid driving record
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Physical fitness, able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
- Availability for on-call rotation to handle emergency situations outside business hours
