The Client Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the relationships we cherish with our clients. Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to build loyalty and trust.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients by understanding their business needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client account management matters, and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams (including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience.
- Regularly analyze market trends and client feedback to develop strategic plans for client retention and revenue growth.
- Prepare reports on account status, including tracking key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Participate in client meetings and lead project discussions, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with the project objectives and timelines.
- Offer client training on new products and services to enhance their understanding and utilization.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to client contract terms and conditions while managing expectations effectively.
- Regularly update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Client Relationship Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Strong understanding of CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, as well as collaborate as part of a team.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment that requires a dynamic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
