Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calling and lead follow-up.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closure, including the negotiation of contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Participate in on-going training and professional development opportunities to remain true experts in the field.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Meet personal and team sales targets.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative with a track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
- Experience in a high-volume outbound call center or sales environment is highly desirable.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling messages and capturing an audience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school degree; BS/BA degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Adaptability with an ability to navigate through fast-paced and uncertain environments.
- A self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented and consistently seeking improvement.
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow-through on client contracts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information and proprietary business methods.
