Temporary Dental Assistant Needed for Warm, Modern Private Practice

Los Altos Family Smiles is seeking a temporary dental assistant to join our team while one of our amazing assistants is on maternity leave (May through mid-September).

We’re a long-standing, privately owned practice that believes dentistry should feel personal, attentive, and compassionate—for both patients and team members. We’re looking for someone who can jump in with confidence, bring positive energy, and help create a smooth, welcoming experience for our patients.

What we’re looking for:

• Dental assisting experience preferred (multiple years is a plus)
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Warm chairside manner and strong communication skills
• Comfortable with digital x-rays/scanners/technology
• Team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assisting

• Sterilization/infection control

• Setting up and breaking down rooms

• Digital x-rays/scans/photos

• Helping keep the day running smoothly
