Job Title: HVAC Service Technician (Residential Maintenance & Repair)
Location: Richardson, TX
Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Energy Attic is hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, service, and repair. This role is ideal for a technician who can independently diagnose and resolve HVAC issues while delivering excellent customer service in residential environments.
HVAC Maintenance & Service
Perform routine preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems
Complete seasonal system changeovers (heating ↔ cooling)
Evaluate system performance and recommend repairs or replacements
Installation & Support
Assist with HVAC system installations and ductwork as needed
Support senior technicians on complex service calls or installs
Mentor helpers or junior technicians when applicable
Tools, Inventory & Communication
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and job materials
Track and restock inventory as needed
Communicate clearly with dispatch and office staff regarding job updates, parts, and timelines
3+ years of residential HVAC experience (required)
Strong ability to independently handle service and maintenance calls
EPA Certification (preferred or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools and service software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar HVAC CRM software
Familiarity with attic-based HVAC systems and ductwork
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Residential service work in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops
Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and insulation
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed
Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
