Entry-Level Sales Representative

Salary Range:  $55,000 - $75,000 year

Tri-Valley, Inc., a dynamic and community-focused company, is excited to announce an opening for an Entry-Level Sales Representative. This full-time position offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to begin a rewarding career in sales and marketing. Located centrally, this role requires in-person interactions and contributes directly to our high-impact project executions aimed at supporting community-based marketing and fundraising campaigns. Note that this is not a remote job, and the candidate will be expected to manage activities within our operational locations.

The selected candidate will be at the frontline of our efforts, directly engaging with customers and promoting various nonprofit initiatives. Whether it’s driving donations or securing sign-ups, your role will be critical in advancing our company’s goals. We offer extensive training with no prior sales experience required, aiming to build a knowledgeable and efficient salesforce capable of taking on leadership roles as they develop their skills within our infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers in person at events and outreach locations to effectively communicate campaign messages.
  • Answer questions and provide detailed information about the initiatives to encourage customer participation.
  • Drive sales, donations, or sign-ups by utilizing engaging and persuasive communication techniques.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and project supporters.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and sales campaigns, adhering strictly to projected goals and guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance goals set by the team managers.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and report results back to the supervisory team for performance reviews.
  • Work closely with other team members in a fast-paced environment to ensure a seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Participate actively in training sessions focused on improving sales and communication skills.
  • Contribute positively to the creation of a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture.

  • Preferred but not required: Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales environments.
  • An interest in marketing, business, or communications is advantageous and will be considered during the selection process.
