About the Role
As a Community Relations Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening brand awareness and enhancing our reputation through effective local outreach and community engagement. You will be responsible for coordinating community programs, building partnerships, and aligning outreach efforts with our overall marketing objectives. You’ll work closely with both the marketing and public relations teams to execute impactful campaigns that resonate with the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Build & Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations, nonprofits, community leaders, and influencers to strengthen our presence in the community.
Support Community Outreach Programs: Plan and assist in executing community events, volunteer opportunities, and sponsorships that align with our brand values.
Represent the Company: Attend public events, career fairs, expos, and networking functions to represent the company and engage with the community.
Collaborate on Marketing Campaigns: Partner with the marketing team to ensure community engagement efforts support broader brand initiatives and campaigns.
Engage with the Community: Respond to inquiries from the community via social media and other digital platforms, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Track & Report Community Engagement: Monitor and report on community engagement activities, measuring outcomes and impact to refine future strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
Outgoing & Friendly: An approachable, friendly personality with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects efficiently.
Interest in Community Building: Passion for fostering positive relationships and engaging with the public to promote brand initiatives.
Experience: Internship or volunteer experience in community outreach, public relations, or brand communications is a plus.
