AZ Sleep is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to support our Sleep Apnea and Treatment Program as an independent contractor. While this role is primarily remote, we are specifically looking for candidates who are licensed in Arizona and able to support patients associated with our Glendale clinic. This is a part-time, flexible opportunity ideal for a provider with a background in sleep disorders or pulmonary care.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage patients with sleep-related conditions, especially obstructive sleep apnea
Conduct virtual follow-ups, treatment assessments, and patient education
Collaborate with our Glendale-based care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide expert guidance on treatment options, including the use of oral appliances and interpretation of sleep study results
Requirements:
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona (AZ)
Minimum 2 years of experience in sleep medicine, pulmonary care, or a related field
Working knowledge of the AdvancedMD EMR system is beneficial
Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with sleep disorders
Comfortable working independently and communicating via telemedicine
Previous experience with CPAP and alternative therapies preferred
Must be able to function as a 1099 independent contractor
