The Location Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of the location. This is a hands-on shop position. The Location manager will be responsible for monitoring employee activities, scheduling daily activities, inbound and outbound shipping activities (must have UPS shipping experience), documentation of the machine shop to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely production and delivery. Communicates with the Head Office daily via emails and MS teams. Manages and develops daily, weekly and monthly production schedule. Manages all raw and finished materials inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all plant employees work schedules, enforce company rules.
- Manage employees and lead day-to-day responsibilities.
- Monitor Plant Production to ensure schedule is being followed: Visually check inventory, verify work in progress, and Update head office staff daily.
- Manage facility, and ensure company guidelines are being followed.
- Monitor facility personnel, responsible for opening and closing facility/office.
- Performs all shipping of finished products and goods via UPS.
- Manage Raw Material Inventory, final product shipments.
Required:
- Bachelor degree preferred or commensurate work experience
required (manufacturing sector). - Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience managing
and leading. - Strong email and phone communications skills to expedite flow of
materials and documents to meet machine shop floor schedule and
customer expectations. - Highly dependable and punctual individual (Responsible)
- Ability to respond to situations in a prompt and professional manner
- Energetic and highly motivated to succeed,
- Proven professional and sound judgment in the management of
difficult matters - Provide excellent communications to the main office regarding daily
developments. - Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (MS Office)
- Able to maintain receiving log of raw materials, mark and tag inventory.
- Must be able to accurately count, pack and ship product.
- UPS/FedEx System Experience
- Machine shop or manufacturing experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
