The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of shipping/receiving, electronic assembly, small-part mechanical assembly, and an acute eye for detail / quality.
- Ability to accurately follow assembly processes and develop and document processes.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to perform all required assembly operations in designated work area.
- Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Install various decals, pack and inventory.
- Must be able to accurately count, pack and ship product.
- Experience packing, taping, and shipping Boxes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards.
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
Experience
- Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management experience
- Must be able to work from 2D mechanical drawings.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be easy to get along with.
- Strong communication skills
- Must possess a positive "can do" attitude.
- Must be very detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as assembler or production lead.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using hand tools and machines (arbor press, drill press)
