Reports To: Project Manager
Pay: $20-$30/hr based on experience and competency

We train new Cable Splicers from the ground up—no experience required. You’ll learn to splice fiber, coax, copper, and other cables while working on real projects, getting hands-on skills, and growing with a company that values hard work, attention to detail, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Complete splicing of fiber, coax, copper, and other cables to finish installations

  • Manage your splicing operations in a clean and organized work truck and trailer

  • Lay out projects to complete splicing on-time and on-budget

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on schedules and reporting

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in top condition

  • Learn and apply construction prints, splice schematics, and telecommunications network structure

  • Learn to use ArcGIS mapping tools

Skills & Qualifications

  • No prior splicing experience required—we train you!

  • Keen eye for detail and quality workmanship

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Problem-solving mindset: “I will attack this problem!”

  • Willingness to learn Excel, construction prints, splice schematics, and telecommunications network structure

Success Looks Like

  • Projects are completed on schedule

  • Work trucks, trailers, and tools are clean and organized

  • All cables are spliced correctly, and test results meet company standards


Please note: This role involves fiber and coax splicing. 

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test. Ongoing testing may be required per company policy.
