Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (20–30 hours/week, flexible based on workload)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist with facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance at our wholesale greenhouse facility in Linwood, KS. The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on facility systems, equipment, and machinery

• Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical (including 3-phase), and HVAC tasks

• Conduct general building and structural repairs

• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment inventory

• Follow safety procedures and company SOPs

• Ensure a clean and organized work environment

• Assist in groundskeeping and outdoor facility upkeep

• Respond promptly to urgent repair needs or emergencies
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (facility, mechanical, electrical, or construction)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (certified driving record required)

• Reliable transportation

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Welding, mechanical, and HVAC skills are highly desirable

• Trailer towing experience is a plus

• Must be 21 years or older

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (facility, mechanical, electrical, or construction)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently (ask for assistance when lifting over 75 lbs)

• Comfortable with heights, ladders, and tight spaces

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and crouching

• Capable of working in all weather conditions year-round

• Able to climb stairs and ladders and use hand tools with fine motor skills

• Comfortable with potential exposure to chemicals, allergens, and outdoor elements

• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and color-coded wires

• Must be able to communicate clearly and understand safety instructions
