Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines and production demands.

What You'll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you'll play an important role in ensuring materials and products move efficiently throughout our facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Unload and load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Transport materials, parts, and finished products throughout the warehouse, shop, and yard.
• Pick, pack, inspect, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and related documentation.
• Verify orders using work orders, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Stage materials and finished products for production and shipment.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Organize warehouse, yard, and staging areas for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers, vendors, and delivery drivers.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and minor facility maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling (preferred but not required)
• Forklift experience (certification is a plus)
• Experience operating overhead cranes is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements

This position requires working in an active manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Applicants must be able to:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and lift
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment
