All Star Kids Family Dental is a privately owned, growing dental practice in Dayton, Texas, providing comprehensive dental care for children and adults.  We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated team player with strong experience in general and adult dentistry who is also comfortable assisting with pediatric patients. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works efficiently, and contributes to a positive and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant license

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience preferred

  • Strong experience in general and adult dentistry

  • Experience assisting with pediatric patients

  • Orthodontic experience is a plus

  • Experience with Open Dental is preferred

  • Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection-control protocols

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during general, restorative, and pediatric procedures

  • Prepare and break down treatment rooms

  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs

  • Follow sterilization and infection-control procedures

  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked operatories

  • Manage lab cases and monitor clinical supplies

  • Educate patients and parents regarding treatment and home-care instructions

  • Help maintain an efficient clinical schedule and patient flow

  • Support the clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care
