All Star Kids Family Dental is excited to announce an opening for a temporary dentist in our dedicated dental team. Our practice is focused on providing top-notch dental care to both children and adults within our community. As a pivotal part of our team, you will be joining a compassionate group of professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of dental care.

This temporary, part-time position requires in-clinic presence at our family-friendly facility. It is not a remote job. The role is ideal for a dentist who is prepared to start immediately and commit through till August, providing continuity of care during this pivotal period. We are eagerly seeking a dentist who possesses a combination of technical dental skills and a personable approach to patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dental health, including teeth, gums, and related oral structures, and plan appropriate treatments.
• Provide routine care as well as execute specialized procedures such as crowns, pulpotomies, extractions, and fillings for pediatric patients.
• Perform general adult dentistry which includes but is not limited to fillings, crowns, prosthodontics (both fixed and removable), and surgical extractions.
• Offer endodontic services - having experience in these procedures will be considered a plus.
• Document treatment plans and care performed within the patients' records, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff within the clinic to ensure a smooth workflow and timely administration of dental services.
• Advise and instruct patients on oral health care, including preventative care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral health care services.
• Ensure all practices and procedures comply with the regulation and guidelines of dental health standards.
• Embody a professional attitude and appearance, while maintaining a friendly disposition that puts our young patients at ease.
• Participate in staff meetings and stay updated with advancements in dental practices and technologies.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license (or eligible to obtain one prior to starting).
• Minimum of three years of dental experience.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of dental procedures for both children and adults.
• Proficiency in pediatric dentistry, including procedures like crowns, pulpotomies, and extractions.
• Capability in adult dentistry, including fillings, crowns, prosthodontics, surgical extractions, and a strong foundation in endodontic treatments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact effectively with children, their parents, and adults.
• Commitment to the highest level of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Must be humble, hungry, and honest — with a passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Ability to start immediately and operate on a part-time schedule until August is required.
