Are you passionate about cars and skilled at auto maintenance? Ryan Auto Mall is looking for a dedicated Quick Lane Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. Please note that this position is based on-site at our grounds and is not available as a remote job. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and lubrication work on vehicles as outlined in manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and perform light maintenance tasks including but not restricted to brakes, wheel alignments, battery installations, and tire rotations.
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle statuses, and ensure prompt and effective turnover of vehicles.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and service recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure the operational efficiency of the quick lane bay and adherence to safety policies.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately determine preventive maintenance procedures and potential service issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, and explain the work performed and overall condition of the vehicle to clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with technology and processes via training and professional development opportunities provided by Ryan Auto Mall.
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure accurate documentation of all service activities in alignment with dealership standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quick Lane Technician or similar role within the automotive service industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest automotive technologies and a strong aptitude for electrical systems, mechanical operations, and diagnostics tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality of work.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proficiency in explaining complex technical issues to non-technical personnel.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility with work hours; willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed by the service schedule.
  • A commitment to adhere to all safety protocols and work efficiently within the specified time constraints.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of conditions (e.g., heat, cold, dust, etc.).
  • Passion for delivering high-quality service and a propensity to stay informed with automotive service innovations.
