We are seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to lead our clinical team and support our fast-paced, multi-doctor dental office. Our 15-operatory practice is well-equipped with the latest dental technology, running an assisted hygiene model to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the daily clinical operations within the dental office.
- Support multiple dental providers in delivering patient care, managing an efficient workflow that accommodates a multi-provider schedule.
- Ensure all dental assistants are properly trained and adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Coordinate with the administrative staff to ensure seamless operation between front office and clinical activities.
- Manage inventory and ordering of clinical supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels without excessive oversupply.
- Assist in various dental procedures directly, providing chairside assistance as needed.
- Facilitate the use of digital dental technology, including iTero, CEREC, or CBCT, enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Implement and adhere to the office's safety and emergency protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Mentor and lead dental assistant team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Maintain documentation and patient records with utmost confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Texas.
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience, with prior leadership or mentoring roles strongly preferred.
- Proficient in managing sterilization, and able to provide chairside assistance for multiple procedures.
- Experience with digital dental technology such as iTero, CEREC, or CBCT preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation and a reasonable commute to our office location in Cypress, TX.
