Job Description:

LTHC is excited to announce the opening for an Executive Vice President of Operations. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned leader seeking to make a significant impact within a dynamic organization. As the Executive Vice President of Operations, you will be entrusted with substantial responsibilities crucial for steering the company's operational strategies and ensuring all processes are optimized to meet the highest standards of working under the regulatory and clinical framework established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and related healthcare authorities.

The Executive Vice President of Operations is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive operational plans for all company initiatives. This includes developing and managing detailed plans of action (OPORD-style) with defined steps, tasks, timelines, assigned roles, and measurable deliverables. The EVP aligns strategic priorities to ensure all plans reflect the needs of the practice, regulatory standards, and the company’s strategic goals. Through proactive planning, disciplined communication, and operational oversight, the EVP ensures that the LTHC Group consistently delivers outstanding patient care while maintaining operational excellence and compliance with all federal and state standards. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the senior leader responsible for translating the organization’s mission and strategic goals into actionable, measurable operational plans.
  • Develops comprehensive operational strategies and oversees their implementation across the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manages and integrates cross-functional teams to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Leads the process of operational planning and coordination, establishes benchmarks for performance, and monitors adherence to operational standards.
  • Directs resource allocation, including staffing and budgeting decisions, to support operational efficiency and organizational growth.
  • Enhances internal communication protocols, facilitating smoother information flow and enhancing decision-making processes.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and that the company remains highly responsive to industry demands.
  • Employs advanced technology solutions to streamline operations and integrates innovative workflow management tools to support team coordination.
  • Drives business development activities and strategic initiatives that promote sustainable growth and market competitiveness.
  • Ensures that operational practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, particularly those established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and related healthcare authorities.
  • Represents the company at major conferences and professional gatherings, advocating for the organization’s interest and enhancing its industry standing.
  • Reports directly to the CEO, providing regular updates on operational progress and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational management role within a sizable organization, preferably in the long term healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrable expertise in operational planning and coordination, with a strong ability to develop strategic plans that align with business goals.
  • Advanced skills in staffing, budgeting, and resource management, ensuring optimal use of assets and personnel to achieve organizational targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in the latest technologies relevant to workflow management and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with a track record of mentoring and driving teams towards achieving increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience in business development and executing growth strategies that elevate company profile and market share.
  • Adept at navigating the regulatory environments, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards, particularly those related to healthcare operations.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed in order to meet business needs and operational demands.
