Hanson Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Sr Front-End Developer (React, UX & Accessibility) to join our team supporting our client, a leading technology company in the gaming industry that provides Xbox Game Creator Tools and services, including PlayFab Game Manager, which allows developers to build, manage, and deliver games across multiple platforms.

In this role, you will focus on accessibility and responsive design across support channels, while enhancing internal tools and systems that enable developers to configure, monitor, and manage their games using PlayFab Game Manager and other Game Creator services.

The individual in this role must be willing to work Pacific Time hours to align with our client and team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement and maintain user interfaces by helping build responsive, accessible, and high-performance UIs using React and/or modern JavaScript
• Collaborate closely with designers and across teams to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional consistent components
• Design reusable and scalable React component architectures, focusing on performance
• Optimize front-end performance through lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient rendering strategies in React applications
• Ensure applications are fully responsive across various devices and screen sizes
• Implement accessibility best practices like WACG 2.0 to ensure compliance standards are met
• Utilize React's state management to manage data flow and UI state effectively
• Write unit tests and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Address bugs and support applications built using Angular JS
• Perform backend support for systems/tools as requested

Desired Skills & Experience: 

• Secondary education degree (Bachiller Universitario or Licenciado degree)
• Front End: 8 – 10 + years of TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern framework (React preferred)
• Back End: 3+ years of experience with C#/.NET for APIs, background jobs, and data management
• Deep knowledge of React ecosystem, hooks, functional components, and best practices
• Familiarity and experience implementing CSS frameworks
• Proficient in Git or similar code repository for source control, including branching strategies and pull request workflows
• Context API, Redux, or Recoil
• Knowledge and experience using bundlers like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel, and deployment pipelines for React apps
• Backend services familiarity with cloud providers like Azure, AWS or GCP. Familiarity with AI coding tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in cross-functional teams using tools like Figma and SharePoint for documentation and ADO for bug/task management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Collaborative and works well within a team
• Be able to work in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with large-scale U.S. enterprises
