Position Responsibilities and Duties:
• Job Setup - Review scope, schedule, and constraints before job start - Conduct pre-start walks with lead men - Confirm manpower, materials, access, equipment, and site readiness - Establish production expectations and quality standards
• Job Execution - Oversee 4–6 crews across multiple active projects - Visit jobs daily or every other day - Coordinate directly with GCs, owner reps, and property managers - Resolve field issues proactively without escalating - Monitor quality, pace, safety, and crew performance
• Closeout - Manage punch lists and touch-ups - Coordinate demobilization - Ensure jobs are truly complete and client-ready• Leadership - Support and develop lead men - Hold crews accountable to standards - Communicate clearly and professionally under pressure
Required Experience:
• 5+ years as a superintendent or senior field leader
• Commercial painting experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple short-duration jobs
• Strong GC and owner communication skills
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in commercial painting w/ paint & primers, brush/roll & spray techniques
• Prior management experience of paint crews
• Strong organizational skills in field and office
• Solid written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft office, timekeeping & scheduling software
• Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
• Reliable, self-motivated, professional
Benefits:
• Base Salary: $105,000-$120,000 (DOE)
