This full-time position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of our dental practice, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care from the moment they walk through our doors. Please note, this is an onsite role and is not eligible for remote work.
Monday: 8-5
Tuesday: 8-5
Thursday: 8-5
Friday: 8-2
Saturday: 8-1 (2 per month)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting patients with a warm, welcoming smile upon their arrival.
- Checking patients in and ensuring that all necessary forms are accurately completed before their appointment.
- Collecting payments and handling billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized calendar to ensure smooth operations.
- Answering phone calls, managing emails, and communicating effectively with patients to address their needs and concerns.
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information as per HIPAA regulations.
- Attending to patient needs, providing them with relevant information regarding their care and treatment plans.
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Facilitating effective communication between patients, family members, and dental care professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
- Monitoring inventory and ordering dental office supplies as needed.
- Participating in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to enhance job performance and contribute to a positive clinic environment.
- Assisting with dental records maintenance and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Previous dental office experience is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using office software including EHR (Electronic Health Records), dental practice management software, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in office management or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly advantageous.
