As a Carpet Cleaning Technician at DES Group, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our clients expect. This job is not a remote position, and the ideal candidate will be prepared to work on-site at various locations within our operational footprint.

The candidate will be involved in various cleaning and maintenance tasks, focused on carpets and upholstered furniture. With a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence, you will contribute directly to the hygiene and aesthetic appeal of numerous environments, ranging from corporate offices to domestic settings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a high level of physical fitness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clean carpets using equipment and cleaning agents.
Shampoo carpets, working diligently to remove stains.
Clean various types of floors, applying correct techniques for each surface.
Clean furniture, focusing on fabric and leather upholstery..
Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
Inspect areas for safety hazards and maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service, understanding and addressing client needs and feedback.
Work flexibly as per job schedules which might include evenings and weekends.
Travel to various job sites within the designated area.
Ensure accurate record keeping for each task performed.
Partake in training and meetings to ensure up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a flexible schedule that allows for varying shifts and possible weekend work.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
Must be willing to work independently or as part of a team of 3-5 people.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
A professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work effectively under minimal supervision.
Keen awareness of health and safety procedures and a commitment to adopting best practices in the workplace.
