The role demands someone who can maintain a high level of professionalism, multitasking skills, and a profound understanding of dental operations without the option for remote work. Being the first point of contact for our patients, the professional we are looking to hire will be instrumental in shaping our patient’s overall experience at the clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to dentists during various dental procedures
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment and tools for use in patient treatments
  • Assist in updating and maintaining patient dental records
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental office
  • Manage front desk operations including answering phone calls and managing communication with patients
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Handle basic dental insurance tasks including claims and verifications
  • Call and follow up with patients for overdue appointments to ensure continuous dental care
  • Greet patients upon their arrival at the clinic, offering a welcoming and informative interaction
  • Process patient billing and transaction handling
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supply inventory
  • *MUST HAVE DENTAL FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE*

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; further certification in dental assisting preferred
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Front Desk Assistant in a dental setting
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with patients and staff
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality concerning patient records and discussions
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software and applications used in dental clinics
  • Exemplary customer service skills for both face-to-face and telephone interactions
  • Adaptability to various situations and patient needs
  • Physical dexterity necessary for dental assistant roles
