Farm Production Worker

Hourly: $19

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm  **Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and the company's needs**

Environment: Hot, Humid, Dusty Farm 

The Bug Company, a leader in the insect farming industry, is excited to announce a job opening for a Production Team Member in Ham Lake, MN. This full-time position will require the successful candidate to perform their duties on-site, as this is not a remote job. As a Production Team Member, you will play a crucial role in live insect husbandry and the delivery of high-quality insect-based products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily production of insect products
• Follow established procedures to ensure the quality and consistency of products
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform quality control checks on finished products
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Adhere to policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work with urgency.
• Must be able to work directly with and handle live insects.

Work experience is nice to have:

• Working with and caring for live insects or animals
• Linework
• Greenhouse or gardening
• Manual labor 
• Husbandry
