Shipping Associate - Day Shift

 Shift: Sunday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm  |  Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and the company's needs

Location: Ham Lake, MN

As a Shipping Team Member, you will play a crucial role in packing our product and maintaining the high standards The Bug Company has set for customer satisfaction and delivery efficiency.  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick orders from inventory based on the daily shipment list.
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Package products securely to avoid damage during transit.
• Label packages accurately to guarantee they reach the correct destination.
• Report any discrepancies in inventory or packaging to the supervisory staff immediately.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize space and efficiency in the shipping area.

 Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shipping Associate or similar role; experience in production or warehousing preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to frequently lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A commitment to adherence to health and safety standards in the workplace.
• Must be able to work directly with and handle live insects.
