Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial oral examinations and assess dental health.
  • Create detailed treatment plans for patients.
  • Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and fillings.
  • Install orthodontic devices and apply whitening treatments.
  • Maintain patient records with comprehensive notes of interventions and treatments.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with dental pathologies.
  • Supervise dental assistants and hygienists to ensure adherence to all procedures and quality standards.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, training sessions, and seminars.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and techniques in dental technology and treatment via continued education and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws governing dental practice.
  • Provide guidance and counsel on preventative dental care to patients.
  • Effectively communicate with dental staff and administrative staff to ensure seamless operation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment by following organization standards and state regulations.
  • Comfortably manage patient care with the assistance of modern dental technology and practices.
  • Handle dental emergencies efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Florida dental license.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a dental practice environment.
  • Degree in Dentistry from an accredited dental school.
  • Strong proficiency in using dental technology tools such as intraoral scanners, CBCT, and AI-based diagnostics.
  • Proven competence in various dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetic restorations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Must be keen on participating in continued education efforts to stay abreast of medical and technological advancements.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of managing both medical staff and administrative aspects of the clinic.
  • High level of personal ethics and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and enhancing patient experience.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work various schedules including weekends and holidays as required by the clinic’s operations.
