Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality preventive care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Take and review digital X-rays and perform periodontal charting.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies and treatment options.
- Review and update patient medical histories at every visit to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate with dentists about patient clinical findings to help in treatment planning.
- Maintain detailed and accurate chart notes, adhering to legal and ethical documentation practices.
- Help ensure smooth patient flow and contribute to maintaining an organized and clean office environment.
- Be a reliable, friendly face for patients and coworkers, enhancing patient experience and workplace morale.
Requirements
- A licensed dental hygienist with a cheerful, upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
- A reliable professional who respects the team and patient schedule, promoting a punctual and efficient clinic environment.
- Someone who enjoys their work, connects well with people, and supports fellow team members in various tasks including scanning, sterilization, or patient care.
- A responsible individual proactive in following office protocols to ensure operational and clinical compliance.
- A person comfortable with using digital charting systems, X-rays technology, and ideally familiar with intraoral scanners.
- Open to learning and feedback, and eager to grow professionally within the practice.
