General Manager – 15 to Fit Method™ Pilates Studio

Responsibilities and Duties
Sales & Marketing
You’ll be excited to drive lead generation through grassroots marketing, partnerships, social media, and networking events. And once the leads come in, you’ll implement and oversee the intro private session sales process, as well as personally convert leads into members and oversee all membership sales. As you oversee the results, you’ll exercise discipline in analyzing the sales data and adjusting the strategies to exceed revenue targets across memberships, retail, private training, and education programs.
Operations & Studio Management
Your professionalism and eye for detail will come into play as you ensure studio cleanliness, safety, and organization, including small equipment checks and external appearance. Overseeing supply management (toiletries, towels, water, etc.) and retail inventory, is included, as is ensuring all studio literature, forms, and admin materials are up-to-date and well-stocked.
With respect to customer service, your communication skills will come in handy when managing any issues or outstanding client dues. Your technical or organizational skills will be a huge benefit as you proficiently use Mindbody for scheduling, sales, revenue reports, attendance tracking, and client account management.
Team Management & HR
As General Manager, you’ll get to lead the efforts in building onto and leading the amazing team through hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and managing instructors and administrative staff. You’ll conduct or oversee instructor evaluations and ensure teaching quality and professionalism. You’ll train and supervise sales standards to instructors and other staff, holding team members accountable to studio standards. Your energy will be helpful in building and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and growth- minded studio culture. And as part of the GM role, you’ll be approving vacation requests, tracking training hours, and overseeing payroll and timecard accuracy.
Leadership & Strategic Planning
● As General Manager, you’ll get to coordinate directly with Owners, Education Director, Master Instructors, and vendors to support business growth. The communication strengths you bring will be critical in coordinating consistent communication with corporate or district-level leadership. You’ll lead team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of studio processes(e.g., client journey, instructor development, lead tracking) and play an integral part in studio-level strategic planning with the owner on financial goalsetting, and process reviews.
Qualifications and Skills
● 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within fitness, wellness, or retail Preferred.(Prior success and experience growing a team for an organization and/or business a must)
● HR experience is a must (hiring, evaluations, conflict resolution).
● Proven ability to lead sales efforts and manage performance-based metrics.
● Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented; excels at data and process management.
● Familiarity with Mindbody (or similar scheduling/sales systems) preferred.
● Tech-savvy, with the ability to streamline systems and adopt time-saving tools.
● Passion for Pilates, education, personal development, and team collaboration.
● Ability to independently manage studio needs while contributing to broader company initiatives.
Work Environment
● Must be able to stand, walk, or perch for extended periods.
● Must be able to lift and move studio equipment as needed.
● Clear, articulate voice and physical energy to lead a team and represent the brand.
Compensation and Benefits
● Pay: Part time employment with opportunity for full time
($25.00 per hour plus performance bonuses up to 25 hours per week)
