About the Role

Master Plumbing & Heating is growing fast, and we need a reliable, organized, and driven Warehouse Associate to keep our operations running smoothly. This role is hands-on: you’ll be responsible for receiving materials, managing inventory, preparing orders for field teams, and maintaining a clean, efficient warehouse. No experience required—we will train the right person. What matters most is attitude, attention to detail, and consistency.


Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Shipping 

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers; verify counts, inspect for damage, and compare against purchase orders.
  • Label, stage, and put away incoming materials quickly and accurately.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and material returns, including packaging, labeling, and carrier coordination.


Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse and on trucks.
  • Use company software to log material usage and update stock.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory counts as required.
  • Organize shelves, bins, racks, and bulk storage areas for easy access by field technicians.


Warehouse Organization

  • Keep the warehouse exceptionally clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Maintain proper storage of plumbing/HVAC equipment, fittings, chemicals, tools, and consumables.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.


Support for Field Operations

  • Build and stage job kits for install and service teams based on material lists.
  • Assist with loading/unloading company vehicles.
  • Track returns, warranty parts, and repairs.
  • Help maintain shop tools, testing equipment, and consumables.


General Duties

  • Assist in fleet-related tasks (checking vehicle stock levels, light cleaning, minor organization).
  • Support managers with operational tasks as needed.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements—your input matters here.


Requirements

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the plumbing/HVAC industry.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and work on your feet.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn software and inventory systems.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Dependability—show up on time, ready to work.


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Warehouse, inventory, or construction supply experience.
  • Familiarity with plumbing/HVAC materials, fittings, and equipment.
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience (training provided if needed).


Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday.
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
