Service Coordinator

Salary Range:  $40000 - $60000 year

PURPOSE

The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating service operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. This role requires a high level of autonomy, independent working, and decision-making to effectively schedule and oversee urgent service appointments, routine preventative maintenance, manage resources, and maintain customer satisfaction. The Service Coordinator will act as a liaison between clients and service technicians, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of service issues. This position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and upholding the company's standards of service and compliance with industry regulations, including both state and local.  


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate service calls from start to finish, ensuring timely completion. 
  • Scheduling: Create and manage service call schedules, coordinating with clients, technicians, and suppliers.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding service call timelines, progress, and any issues that arise.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of all service calls, including work orders, schedules, and client communications. 
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that occur during the service call process.
  • Team Communication: Provide guidance and support to service technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Knowledge of state and local permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of proven experience in service coordination
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

In the Office 

  • Bending and Stooping: Occasional bending and stooping to access low filing cabinets or shelves.
  • Reaching: Reaching above and below shoulder level to handle documents or office equipment.
  • Handling and Grasping: Frequent handling and grasping of documents, office supplies, and equipment.
  • Visual and Auditory Requirements: Ability to read documents and computer screens and ability to communicate effectively in person or on the phone.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry objects, files, and documents weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally 


WORKING ENVIRONMENT  

Working in a office setting in close proximity to others.
