What You'll Do:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct detailed oral health assessments, including screenings, charting, and reviewing patient history.
- Promote Oral Health: Perform professional cleanings, apply fluoride and sealants for prevention, and provide personalized oral hygiene education.
- Utilize Advanced Technology: Capture digital X-rays and manage patient records within our electronic system.
- Support Patient Well-being: Evaluate oral conditions, document findings, and assist in handling dental emergencies.
- Collaborate with Our Dental Team: Partner with dentists and other staff to deliver holistic patient care.
- Coordinate Appointments: Schedule patient appointments and ensure seamless follow-up care scheduling.
- Maintain a Safe and Sterile Environment: Uphold cleanliness and organization under all safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
- Education and Credentials: Associate degree (or higher) in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution. Valid and current Dental Hygienist license for the state in which our practice operates.
- Essential Certifications: Current CPR certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital X-ray equipment, Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and dental practice management software.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical dental office setting.
- Organizational and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Integrity: Strong adherence to ethical standards and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
