The Pest and Wildlife Professional will play a critical role in managing and executing pest control and wildlife exclusion strategies, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. Applicants should be prepared for a vigorous role that combines hands-on fieldwork with insightful strategic planning.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and assessments to identify pest and wildlife issues.
- Develop and implement effective control strategies tailored to specific situations.
- Install wildlife exclusion solutions and perform minor home repairs related to pest entry.
- Handle and apply pesticides following all safety protocols and legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all inspections, treatments, and other job-related activities.
- Offer advice and recommendations to clients on how to prevent future pest and wildlife problems.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pest control techniques and wildlife management practices.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools in safe and functional condition.
- Participate in training and educational sessions to enhance skills and comply with industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clarity, and confidence in our services.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency call-outs for pest and wildlife removal.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pest control or wildlife management preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Criminal background check with no prior convictions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Drug-free as evidenced by a pre-employment drug screening test.
