Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site inspections to identify wildlife and pest-related issues.
- Implement industry-standard control measures and removal techniques safely and humanely.
- Engage in habitat modification and exclusion strategies to prevent pest re-entry.
- Provide detailed documentation and reporting on site visits, assessments, and treatments carried out.
- Collaborate with clients to provide education and recommendations for preventing future wildlife and pest issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to pesticide and trap use.
- Handle chemicals and traps according to safety guidelines to avoid contamination or harm to the environment, humans, and non-target species.
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition through regular maintenance and inspections.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of protocols and practices to enhance the effectiveness of pest control solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with industry trends and breakthroughs in pest management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wildlife and Pest Control Specialist or similar role.
- Proficient in using various types of pest control equipment and comfortable performing ladder work.
- Ability to engage in face-to-face sales and advisory services, with strong persuasive communication skills.
- Maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver's license appropriate for the class of vehicle operated.
- An impeccable background check reflective of a responsible and trustworthy individual.
