Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest and wildlife issues.
• Develop and implement effective pest management plans in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safe and humane handling and relocation of wildlife as per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, client interactions, and outcomes.
• Advise clients on preventative measures and after-care to mitigate future wildlife and pest issues.
• Collaborate with a team of pest control technicians and wildlife experts to streamline efforts and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to stay updated on new methods and technologies in pest management.
• Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of all equipment and vehicles used in daily duties.
• Handle emergency pest or wildlife situations with professionalism and efficiency.
• Carry out minor carpentry repairs to seal entry points and prevent reinfestation.
• Promote community awareness and education regarding wildlife and pest management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pest and wildlife control or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of safe handling practices for chemicals and wildlife.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated with a disciplined approach to work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team setting.
• Comfortable working at heights and on roofs.
• Basic carpentry skills to manage minor repairs related to wildlife exclusion works.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pest control are a plus.
• Availability for rotational on-call duty for emergency response.
• A friendly demeanor and the ability to professionally present solutions to customers.
