LAND SURVEY PARTY CHIEF Department: Survey Reports To: Land Surveyor Division Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: Full-time; Hourly / Commensurate with capabilities/merit based wage increases and bonuses.
SUMMARY Senior survey party chiefs perform complex land surveying activities and must have a sound foundation in the practices and procedures of land survey techniques. Incumbents resolve conflicts, solve problems, train subordinates, and lead a team of land survey personnel in field operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or G.E.D.; additional coursework in surveying, engineering technology, or mathematics; and five years of survey-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. CERTIFICATIONS Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License. CST or LSIT a plus but not required. MSHA or OSHA certification a plus but not required.
