Position Summary:
**PLEASE NOTE: WE STAFF BY APPOINTMENT. THE HOURS ARE EXTREMELY VARIABLE AND CHANGE REGULARLY DUE TO CUSTOMER DEMAND. NUMBER OF HOURS PER PAY PERIOD MAY RANGE FROM 0-35.**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Manager who excels in guest experience, team leadership, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate has at least one year of management experience and thrives in an environment that requires initiative, independence, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a top-tier guest experience from check-in to post-game, with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
Encourage and secure guest reviews to support our online presence and reputation
Lead by example to motivate and supervise a team of Game Hosts
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Ensure games are reset correctly and on time, with attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
Troubleshoot and perform light repairs to game elements as needed
Independently manage daily operations and resolve issues as they arise
Upsell additional games and retail merchandise to maximize revenue
Support the Owners and General Manager in maintaining standards and executing goals
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of management or leadership experience
Escape Room experience preferred (as a host or as a player)
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
Basic technical or mechanical skills (light repairs, electronics, etc.)
Experience with sales or upselling is a plus
Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, as well as during GCS breaks
