Master Automotive Service Technician

Murray Motors is looking for a Master Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Muncy, PA! The right candidate will be a ASE certified master service technician. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. 

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair services in accordance with company and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, PA state inspection etc.
• Road tests vehicles when required
• Document all repairs performed and parts used in accordance with company policies

Qualifications:

• ASE Master Certified
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have PA Automobile Inspection License
• Emissions Inspection License is a plus
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Detail Oriented
• Self driven, go-getter mentality
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic Computer Skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Own your own basic mechanics tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
