Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ductless units.
- Perform system tune-ups, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades, replacements, or efficiency improvements.
- Accurately document service activities, parts used, and recommendations using company software.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues and solutions in a clear, friendly manner.
- Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and local HVAC codes and regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service (as scheduled).
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent working order.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC service experience.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform work in confined spaces or on ladders.
- Work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
