Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? American Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for a reliable and organized Yard Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in our roofing yard.
Job Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain the roofing yard, ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are accounted for and in working order.
Load and unload roofing materials for crews; coordinate deliveries and inventory.
Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
Communicate with project managers and foremen regarding upcoming job requirements.
Track incoming and outgoing tools and materials using yard logs or inventory systems.
Assist in basic maintenance of equipment and yard cleanliness.
Manage dump runs, recycling, and disposal as needed.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred).
Previous experience in a construction, warehouse, or roofing environment preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
