Job Purpose: 

Relief Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to provide preventative maintenance services to residential and/ light commercial customers. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, professional, and eager to grow with a company that offers year-round work and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include:

• Properly cleaning HVAC systems  
• Finding and repairing water leaks
•  Charging air conditioning systems with refrigerant
•  Checking superheat and subcooling
•  Generating equipment and accessory leads
•  Explaining the benefits of Preventative Maintenance Agreements to customers
•  Checking electrical components vital to HVAC operations
• Working safely and professionally in extreme weather conditions, including heat waves and freezing temperatures. 

Requirements: Applicants must have:

• 1 year of HVAC experience
• EPA certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal record
• Ability to pass drug and background screening
• Standard technician tools
• Neat, clean, professional appearance
• Steel-toe boots

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: 8-hour shift
• Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities
• Work Location: On the road
