Lead Diagnostic HVAC Technician

Mission Comfort is building a high-performance residential service team and we’re hiring a Lead Diagnostic Technician who takes pride in solving complex problems and owning their work from start to finish.

This is not a parts changer role.This is not a micromanaged environment.This is for a technician who wants autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to grow into a leadership-level field role.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose complex residential HVAC issues independently

• Complete higher-level repairs with confidence

• Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally

• Mentor junior technicians and elevate diagnostic standards

• Take ownership of customer experience and job outcomes

You will be trusted - and held to clear standards.

Compensation

• $34–$38/hr base (based on diagnostic depth)

• Performance-based commission on total service revenue

• Replacement lead bonus

• Membership incentives

• Overtime paid at time and a half

• Realistic earning potential $90K–$115K+

Compensation aligns with performance. If you produce, you earn.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years residential HVAC diagnostic experience

• Strong electrical and airflow troubleshooting skills

• Confident communicator with homeowners

• Comfortable discussing repair vs replacement on aged systems

• Self-driven and accountable

• Stable work history
