Rx Data Entry Specialist - Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM until 3:30 PM
JOB SUMMARY:
Primary duty is to read prescriptions from dental practices and enter patient prescription information into LabTrac software.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production according to the documented procedure
Completely reads prescription and assign proper case pan
Calls dentists’ office for missing information
Document all materials received from dental office
Performs the scheduling function for each case according to the documented procedure
Enters information into LabTrac software
Print preference notes matching to each case and checks doctors preferences in profile
Move case into production area
Disinfect work area according to the documented procedure
Wear proper personal protective equipment when performing work tasks that require them and follow safety guidelines
Act as an active advocate to others in the lab regarding safety compliance
Help create and maintain a positive atmosphere within the department
All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Pharmacy Technicians are encouraged to apply
High school diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Entry Level; paid training will be provided
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Disinfectant process chemicals
Personal protective equipment as required.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions using both arms and hands grasping, gripping, pinching, lifting, pushing and carrying. Constantly lifting & carrying 0-10 lbs.
