The Treatment Consultant is responsible for helping patients understand the value of their investment in dental health and reviewing the financial options available to support their care.
Responsibilities of the Treatment Consultant
Greet and educate patients, explaining treatment plans in clear, patient-friendly terms
Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
Present financial options and guide patients on insurance benefits
Collect and process payments
Coordinate treatment with the clinical team and referring practices
Work with Dental Surgical Assistants to ensure treatment plans are accurate and phased correctly
Follow up with patients to support treatment acceptance and completion
Schedule appointments, answer calls, and maintain accurate patient records
Ensure smooth patient flow and a clean, organized work environment
Requirements of the Treatment Consultant
Minimum of 1 year of experience in office administration, banking, real estate, or another applicable field involving strategic financial conversations
Comfortable discussing finances with patients and presenting treatment as prescribed by our doctors
Knowledge of insurance and billing is helpful
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day
Clear and confident communication with patients and team members
Strong attention to detail and professionalism
Ability to manage follow-up systems and patient accountability
Compensation and Benefits
Wage: $26–$30 per hour (DOE)
Bonuses based on performance
90-day review and wage assessment with potential for an increase
32–34 hour work week
Health insurance benefits available after 30 days; all other benefits eligible after the 90-day probationary period
40 hours of vacation (accrued annually), doubling at year 3 of service
5 days of sick pay per year
