Clinton Family Dental, LLC is an established, private, general dentistry practice, and is currently seeking a part time dental hygienist to join our dynamic team for two days a week (Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Thursday) with the opportunity for more hours as our practice continues to grow.
Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest research in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. Pay range: $38 to $44
As our perfect match you:
- Have the ability to maintain a current license/certification in Wisconsin
- Have experience taking and recording dental histories and patient records and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, to facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations
- Have a thorough understanding of how to remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
- Can readily instruct and educate patients in oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, and apply fluoride or sealants
- Help maintain patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
- Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
- Are articulate, service-oriented, and have great eye/hand coordination in order to provide gentle and thorough hygiene care to our patients
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
- Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position
Your history likely shows:
- Associate’s Degree from an ADA accredited dental hygienist school
- Current Wisconsin state licensure
- Preferably one year of dental hygiene experience- new grads encouraged to apply
- Certification and ability to administer local anesthetic
- Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
- Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
